Grace for All — Women’s March

January 20, 2018

12:30 pm

Grace Cathedral and the Diocese of California are participating in the 2018 Women’s March in San Francisco. Last year, two hundred people gathered on the cathedral steps to walk together to Civic Center — let’s have an even bigger representation this year! We warmly invite everyone — men, women and children– to join us and share our message of  “Grace for All” that encompasses human rights, civil rights, justice, equality, peace and love for all!

Read a blog post from last year about why we are participated in the Women’s March.

We’ll meet on the cathedral steps between 12:30 and 1 p.m, hear reflections from Bishop Marc Andrus and Executive Pastor Ellen Clark-King, then depart  at 1 p.m. to join the March, which begins at Civic Center at 2 p.m.

If you plan to join us, please RSVP to our Facebook event and share with your networks.

Tips for the San Francisco March

  • We will have buttons and a few “Grace for All”  and “The Episcopal Church is Here” signs (you can download the latter.)
  • If you make your own sign, consider riffing on our message of “Grace for All,” and please, no profanity.
  • Follow the 2018 Women’s March  official Facebook page for updates.
