April 22, 2018
For Earth Day, on Sunday, April 22, prepare to be amazed as National Natural Landmark Burney Falls, the Shasta County waterfall that Teddy Roosevelt called “The Eighth Wonder of the World,” cascades down the Great Steps.
Our 2018 theme is truth, and our artist in residence, Sukey Bryan, will address the truth about climate change, and so will today’s Forum Guest, Maurice Hall. Bryan’s work explores the interaction and transformation of natural elements. She is interested in the resonance between the cycles and elements in nature and human experience.
