As a member of the UNICEF mission to Kuwait and Iraq, Dr. James Garbarino assessed the effect of the Gulf War on children. He is a researcher who specializes in spiritual and identity development in children exposed to violence. Dr. Garbarino has found an alarming rise in aggression among adolescent girls and has some controversial suggestions for how we can turn young people around.
