About the Program:
Complex problems require complex solutions, that's why Cathrine Sneed started The Garden Project. She was aware of the cycle of crime and poverty that plagued society, so Cathrine Sneed created a productive and alternative job-training program that gives life skills to ex-prisoners and feeds the needy. Since 1992, The Garden Project's planted more than 10,000 street trees and grown and distributed more than 40,000 pounds of organic vegetables. Why has The Garden Project succeeded and how can we benefit from its success?
