About the Program:

Many opponents of the death penalty feel that the United States is leading a poor example for social justice for the rest of the world when we condemn so many countries for human rights violations. On the other side, proponents for capital punishment believe we should leave morality at the door when judging the unique cases of lifers and death-row inmates, and examine the justice system for what it is and why it's there. Donald Spoto an active member of the Death Penalty Focus organization and Randy Maple a former prison counselor lead the discussion on the politics of death and our judicial system.
