America's
children are suffering. While some families are celebrating economic
prosperity, statistics show that a large number of children are left
with poor housing, minimal health care, failing education, increased
violence, and starvation. Children's advocate Marian Wright Edelman
draws from her own childhood experiences to show how we have come to
this and the steps we can take to eliminate this tragedy. |
