Gender specific schools have been under fire on every level. Strong challenges are being voiced to their funding and educational criteria. Can separate but equal ever be equal when gender is the division? On the other hand, studies show girls tend to learn math and science better when segregated. Should the future of these schools be based upon idea of equal access to all, or should the performance of these schools be the evidence of their merit?
