Righteousness — they who hunger and thirst for righteousness (S. Matthew V.6; XXV.32-33). Christ as enthroned Son of man (holding the Good Shepherd's crook) divides the sheep (heads at left) from the goats (heads at right), symbolic of the compassionate and the uncompassionate.
