St. John Window: Right Lancet, small medallion 5

Jesus drives the merchants from the Temple (S. John II.16: "Take these things hence"). Jesus drives out the dove sellers with a scourge, complaining of their commercialization of the Temple.

Through the base of the window is the phrase, "I am the way, the truth/ and the life" (S.John XIV.6).
