Congregation Life
Save the date! -- Candlelight Vigil for the President-Elect -- 5 p.m. January 19 -- Martin Luther King Day
Grace Cathedral, "A house of prayer for all people," is the cathedral church of the Episcopal Diocese of California. In addition to our role as the seat of the bishop, as an important destination for tourists and pilgrims, and as a focal point for the community during times of spiritual yearning, the cathedral is home to a vibrant, inclusive resident congregation.
There are many ways to participate and belong here. We invite you to become part of the fabric of this community and to our commitment to "pray, grow and serve" as the people of God. We believe that God is the lover and giver of all life and that everything we are and have comes from God. And so, on our life pilgrimage, we strive to mirror the love, abundance and forgiveness of God made known to us in the person of Jesus.
Look for ways to learn more about the generous Christianity that we practice here, and participate in current and ongoing programs.
