Get to Know Grace Cathedral
The Newcomer Ministry exists to welcome visitors and newcomers and to facilitate the process of joining the resident congregation. Visitors seeking information about the Cathedral community or about membership are encouraged to fill out a welcome card, which can be found in the pews or at the Visitor Center in the Cathedral. The card can be dropped in a donations box or the Sunday offering plate, mailed to the Cathedral, or given to an usher, greeter, or any member of the staff.
The Newcomer Niche located at Coffee Hour following both the 8:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services provides a time and place to meet the Newcomer Coordinator, Mary Wood, a member of the pastoral staff, and other members of our welcoming team, who will offer directions for your journey.
In addition, a number of programs and classes conducted frequently throughout the year are designed to introduce newcomers to the Clergy and Staff of the Cathedral, to the lay leadership of our resident congregation, and to the rich variety of our community life.
