Interweaving dance, live music, poetry, and sacred text, Miriam's Well tells the stories of three visionary women gathering communal waters from the universal well. The stories of Mary, Maryam, and Miriam from the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish traditions illumine the commonality and interconnectedness of these three traditions through a shared story and archetype. Drawing on traditional expressive arts and ritual, contemporary theater and dance technique, the stories emotionally engage the audience in a rich image of a shared heritage.
