Organ Recital Series - Simon Thomas Jacobs

Our organ recital series features some of the finest organists playing one of America's great organs. Our organist today is Simon Thomas Jacobs. Suggested donation of $10.

About the Recitalist

Simon Thomas Jacobs is Fellow in Sacred Music at Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis.  A native of Great Britain, Simon spent a year as organ scholar at All Saints' Margaret Street – an historic Anglo-Catholic parish in London's West End – before taking up the position of organ scholar at Clare College, University of Cambridge where he graduated with an honors degree in music in June 2009. 

From September 2009 to July 2011, Simon was Associate Director of Music at Christ Church Greenwich, Connecticut and in September 2010, won First Prize in the prestigious Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition held annually in Wethersfield, CT.
