Lee Jampolsky suffered under the weight of having a famous child psychiatrist for a father, making him feel controlled, overlooked, and afraid. Lee found he could hide away from his suffering by faking illnesses (resulting in body casts), abusing drugs, and over achieving. It was only when he decided that a "good enough" relationship simply didn’t cut it that Lee worked with his father to heal their relationship. Son and father together found that mutual acceptance and forgiveness opened the door to God. Lee's search for peace mended the ties that bind, and today he and his father have found each other again.
