Fully open, center panel The center panel shows dramatic life-sized photographs of three local grandmothers and their grandchildren, some orphaned by AIDS. They are (left to right): Susan Paliso (also depicted in the far left panel when the altarpiece is fully closed), Eunice Magwane (who will visit Grace Cathedral April 7 – 15), and Caroline Nyongo (one of the creators of the intricate beadwork that appears in the sheltering tree above her).
